Tomato and Feta Cheese Salad |
Ingredients
- 2 pounds tomatoes
- 7 ounces feta cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil, preferably Greek
- 12 black olives
- 4 sprigs fresh basil
- freshly ground black pepper
Methods/steps
- Remove the hard cores from the tomatoes with a small knife.
- Slice the tomatoes into thick slices and arrange them on a shallow platter.
- Crumble the feta cheese over the tomatoes and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle dish with olives and fresh basil. Season with black pepper and serve at room temperature.
