Ingredients

At a glance
Serves
4
  • 16 ounces cooked fettuccini pasta
  • 2 cups cooked broccoli, cut into small trees
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 packet of dry Italian dressing mix
  • salt and pepper to taste

Methods/steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic in olive oil until golden.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine blue cheese, Parmesan cheese, and cream. Stir until cheeses are melted.
  3. Stir in the garlic and oil from the pan. Season with Italian dressing mix, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss sauce with hot pasta and broccoli, and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  5. Top with any extra blue cheese.

Additional Tips

Half and half can be substituted for heavy cream, for a lower fat alternative.

Instead of traditional salt and pepper, try using garlic salt and lemon pepper for a tangy twist!
